The Wiltipoll is a polled shedding sheep developed in Australia from the UK's Wiltshire Horn.
It is intended to produce prime lamb. The short white fleece is shed in spring and summer.
The horns were removed by introducing blood from Border Leicester, Poll Dorset, and Polled Merino breeds.
Wiltipoll/Merino cross lambs can reach weights of 30kg at 10 months off grass, without fat.
Distribution is Australia.
