Post by Shepherd » Tue Jan 02, 2018 5:15 am

The Rhoen is yellow-white with a black hornless head and clothed in coarse wool. It is a medium-large breed with long legs and no horns.

It is the only breed with white legs and black head that is free of wool.

It is considered a hardy and frugal landrace breed suited to wet climates in highlands.

Distribution is Africa and Europe.
